The Drama Source is an on-line resource for dramatic materials for local churches, mission organizations, and other Christian ministries. Our goal is to provide you with effective communication resources to support your creative outreach, teaching and worship needs.

Our Philosophy

Conflict is at the heart of all drama which is why drama can be such a powerful tool to impact lives for God’s Kingdom. Therefore, we believe that drama is most effective when it is used to examine human conflicts, struggles, questions, or problems. Used in this way, people are drawn into the conflict depicted by the actors as they identify with similar struggles in their own lives. At that point, the audience has been prepared to hear an answer but the script ends and paves the way for the speaker to offer insight from God’s word as to how to resolve the conflicts raised in the drama presentation. Therefore, except on rare occasions, you won’t find solutions or answers to the conflicts in the drama sketches offered in The Drama Source. What you will find is a serious or humorous look at the issues people grapple with in their daily lives.
